RIGIDIZED™ Duro-Steel Profile System

RIGIDIZED™ profiles are an innovation by Security Aluminum Hellas SA in dry-wall systems and the ultimate solution for dry-wall ceiling and partition constructions using plasterboards or cement boards.

Galvanized steel RIGIDIZED™ Duro-Steel profiles undergo an additional shaping process which creates indentations (deep square punches) and parallel grooves along their whole length.
Additionally, they are visually different due to their innovative design and carry registered patent certificates, industrial designs and trademarks.

Excellent Quality Specifications

RIGIDIZED™ Duro-Steel profiles have excellent quality specifications since they are continuously controlled by our company's ISO 9001 certified quality system we hold from E.Q.A. (European Quality Assurance).

Additionally, our company produces dry-wall profiles according to DIN 18182/T1 standard since it is certified by TÜV Austria Hellas and according to EN 14195 standard of the European Standardization Commission.

Thanks to this shape, the RIGIDIZED™ Duro-Steel profiles present the following technical advantages:

  • During installation the profile performs better even when screws are applied at an angle since the deep punches hold the screw in place and they don’t allow it to slip as would be the case on a flat surfaced profile.

  • The screw holds better on the metal profile since it screws into a much thicker surface than the original material.

  • Noise transmitted through ceilings and partitions is reduced due to the profile’s grooved surface which renders a smaller contact surface between the metal profile and drywall or other structural elements.

  • Greater mechanical strength and flexibility.
